Album Covers A Lost Art


           Over the past few years Vinyl has made a nice strong comeback. The difference is  however is a new kind of clientele showing enthusiasm for records. The people who seem to be Collecting and enjoy Vinyl consist of a nice even combination of late high school and college age people who got hip to it through their parents, and up into the 30-year-olds and older doing it from an audiophile perspective.

Research has shown that from a buying perspective customers in their teens and twenties spend around $15-$20 on their vinyl which consist of a mix of both newly pressed vinyl and collectibles. However customers in their late 30s and up are the most likely to spend up to $35 for deluxe albums because they came of age listening to vinyl and miss the experience. After all that is what made Vinyl unique it was much more than just music it was an experience, a place and time a record, a sleeve and while you listen to the music within the grooves be and study the Album's cover...A Lost Art
